Philip has been teaching music for 20 years.

Through leading teaching efforts for Quincy Jones’ piano app Playground Sessions (and before that, HDpiano), Philip has taught millions of beginners online, including a young Billie Eilish and a not-as-young Jimmy Fallon.

He earned his Bachelor’s in Jazz Piano Performance, his Master’s in Classical Piano Performance, and is a member of the Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner (STEP) Program.
